About

IH Pentz Campus Bookshop is now online, offering the same selection and service you enjoy in store at the click of your mouse with an overnight delivery service to all major metropolitan areas in South Africa.

The Campus Bookshop, the general and academic book shop situated on the East Campus of the University of the Witwatersrand, has been serving the Wits community for the past 28 years.

The Campus Bookstore, founded in 1992 by Mr Jack Pentz, has expanded over the years and today carries more than 30 000 titles. The Campus Bookstore serves students, academics, universities and corporate institutions with a wide range and an in-depth assortment of general, academic, technical, professional and educational books.

Continuous learning and self development has never been as popular as it is today. Students, professionals and academics wish to continue with their studies, branching out, getting ahead in their fields, or seeking information on entirely new subjects. We cater to all these customers who are looking to widen and deepen their knowledge and skills.

The Campus Bookshop supplies and assists with the establishment and development of Academic libraries, including the libraries at Monash University, St Augustine's College of South Africa and Sol Plaatje University.

The Campus Bookshop offers an in-depth, cutting edge and affordable selection of books in academic fields that are not always readily available from other book shops. We also provide a wide variety of light reading and books that fit neither the academic nor mass-market mould.

The Campus Bookshop is home to an extensive collection of Academic texts. If you are looking for something specific, please contact us on ljak.pentz@wits.ac.za - we might actually have it in stock or could assist you in sourcing what you require.

We host book launches for our publishers as well as exhibitions for faculty conferences.

The Campus Bookshop is open between 8.30am and 5pm every week day and 24/7 online, offering overnight delivery from Monday to Friday.
